| Inhalt | Research in Physcial Geography encompasses a wide range of methods. This course aims at providing the participating students with the basic skills to start working on a Master thesis in Physical Geography. Three sets of methods are covered in the course: experiments in process geomorphology, surface mapping using data obtained by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and the exploration of Mars using a rover. Students decide which field of research they are interested in and carry out a project that focuses on the specific methods for this topic. The entire group will meet at least three times during the semester to present their work to each other, ensuring a broad awareness of the range of methods in Physical Geography. |
