| Inhalt | This course is your starting point into the world of Blockchain and cryptocurrencies. We build a foundation that will enable you to understand this technology and see beyond the hype. The course covers elements from business, economics, computer science and cryptography. It consists of practical and theoretical blocks and offers a comprehensive introduction to various aspects of this fascinating topic. No programming experience required. This is an online course. All lectures will be provided as videos. |
| Lernziele | 1. You will learn how Blockchains work and what they can be used for. 2. You will analyze the economic properties of Bitcoin and similar cryptoassets. 3. You will understand the characteristics of public ledgers and open consensus protocols. |

| Hinweise zur Leistungsüberprüfung | Exercise Sets and Final Exam. written exam: 21.06.24; 14:45-16:15. Depending on the number of students, the start of the exam may be moved forward or backward for 15 minutes. Exam rooms and start times will be published until 30.05.24. You can still withdraw from the examination by submitting a completed, signed form to our office from march 26 until april 5 / 12:00 o’clock.
