| Inhalt | Students learn how to take the role as policy advisor or expert who is ask for an expertise. They learn how to to write such an expertise and how to communicate as an expert to non-academic national and international target groups such as policy makers, executing bodies of policies like ministries, international organizations, central banks, firms, lobbies etc. The course takes place over the course of two semesters: The first part is in the spring semester (1 KP) and the second part in the fall semester (2 KP) . The course has to be taken in this sequence. |

| Teilnahmevoraussetzungen | Both parts of this colloquium are mandatory and exclusive for students in the Master in Economics and Public Policy (MEPP). It must be started in the spring semester and ended in the fall semester. Because the second semester builds directly on the first, this sequence is mandatory. The course requires a strong methodological foundation, and it therefore cannot be started in the first semester of the program. All mandatory additional requirements and conditions must have been completed. All core courses of the MEPP must either have been completed (not necessarily passed) or taken during the first part of the colloquium (spring). |
