Content | The goal of the lecture is to prepare students to work with Python and various other tools. We will provide an overview of different useful tools, including Visual Studio, GitHub, and working with the console. Additionally, we will offer a crash course on important features and libraries of Python, such as classes, modules, numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn. We will also explore faster computation using PyTorch on the GPU and briefly discuss AI-assisted programming |
Learning objectives | 1. Understand Python fundamentals and gain proficiency in the language. 2. Learn essential tools for Python development, e.g., Visual Studio, GitHub, and consoles. 3. Explore important Python features and libraries, e.g., classes, modules, numpy, pandas, and scikit-learn. 4. Utilize PyTorch on the GPU for faster computations. 5.
