Content | The workshop will be given by Philip Jakob from the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin, Germany. The workshop will take place online (via zoom). Git is a distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency. With Git you can easily track changes (e.g. in source code). This makes it easier to work together or quickly undo possible mistakes. This course gives a practical introduction to Git. We will avoid using the command line and focus on graphical tools like Sourcetree. We will also use Github or Gitlab to store, document and collaborate on code. The course is suitable for beginners and even those who have never used Git before. This course is run remotely via Zoom. Comments | Dies ist ein Angebot des Doktoratsprogramms SED-PSY. Maximale Anzahl Studierende: 15. Auswahlkriterien bei Überbelegung: 1) Doktorierende SED-PSY 2) Masterstudierende SWE Science Track 3) Doktorierende anderer Vertiefungsrichtungen Da im Workshop die aktive Teilnahme und der Austausch zwischen den Teilnehmenden wichtig ist, ist es erforderlich die Kamera während des Online-Kurses anzuschalten. Teilnehmende, die das nicht können, melden sich bitte vorab bei der Koordinatorin des Workshops. |
