| Content | Students learn how to take the role as policy advisor or expert who is ask for an expertise. They learn how to to write such an expertise and how to communicate as an expert to non-academic national and international target groups such as policy makers, executing bodies of policies like ministries, international organizations, central banks, firms, lobbies etc. The course takes place over the course of two semesters: The first part is in the spring semester (1 KP) and the second part in the fall semester (2 KP) . The course has to be taken in this sequence. |

| Admission requirements | You have to be enrolled in the Master of Public Economics and Policy (MEPP) in order to take this course. Both parts of this course are mandatory and exclusive for students in the Master in Economics and Public Policy (MEPP). The colloquium takes place in two consecutive semesters. The course has to be started in the Spring semester and ended in the Fall semester. Because the second semester builds on the first, this sequence is mandatory, i.e., the course cannot be started in the Fall semester! |
