Content | In this seminar participants will present key concepts and results from Statistical Learning Theory, which provides a mathematically rigorous theoretical underpinning of several classical algorithms of Machine Learning such as linear regression, logistic regression, support vector machines, kernel methods and decision trees. The aim is to cover concepts such as: * Empirical Risk Minimization * PAC learning * Bias-Complexity trade-off * VC-dimension * Rademacher complexity |
