Content In this seminar, we present and critically discuss current peer-reviewed publications in the area of pharmacoepidemiology / drug safety. Publications focus on clinical (pharmaceutical) and methodologic (study design and statistics) research aspects. Students will improve ability to critically read and understand pharmacoepidemiologic literature and to translate results into clinical practice. This seminar provides a platform to discuss research findings among peers and colleagues.
Learning objectives Students will improve their ability to critically read and understand pharmacoepidemiologic literature and to translate results into clinical practice. Furthermore, students can improve their presentation skills.

 

Admission requirements PhD students and researchers in the area of (pharmaco-) epidemiology and database research. The seminar is open to anyone interested. Basic knowledge of epidemiological concepts are required and will not be explained during the seminar.
