| Content | Data is everywhere and is now being used to answer many questions concerning our wealth, health, and well-being. The aim of this seminar is to enable you to thoughtfully and actively use data science techniques to help answer meaningful questions in a wide variety of domains, from marketing to man-agement. The course will consist of 1) several introductory sessions on data science techniques using R (previous knowledge of R is beneficial but not required) 2) the application of these techniques to to a specific applied question over the course of the semester. |
| Learning objectives | You should learn the fundamentals of a number of data science techniques, and develop confidence and skills in wrangling, analyzing, and communicating statistical data to answer specific and interesting questions in a quantified manner. |
