Content This research seminar offers MA students in African Studies a framework within which to prepare their thesis. The first 6-7 sessions coach participants to design their research project and the remaining sessions are filled with presentations by the students themselves and invited guests.
Learning objectives Participants will consolidate their knowledge of research design. They will learn to value the deployment of systematic procedures in data collection, analysis and interpretation. They will become acquainted with the specific challenges of doing research in African Studies.
