| Content | Der Workshop wird von Prof. Dr. Stephane Hess (University of Leeds) angeboten. Choice modelling is an analytical technique using advanced mathematical structures to represent human decision making, bringing together ideas from economics, psychology and statistics. The models are used widely to understand current decisions and predict future behaviour, with applications across fields such as transport, environmental economics, health economics and marketing. The results are used to guide policy makers as well as industry. This course gives students a broad introduction to the methods and provides them with the ability to apply the models to a number of different case studies, using the powerful free Apollo package in R. |
