Lecturers | Stephan Meyer (stephan.meyer@unibas.ch) |
Content | Writing academic texts in correct, clear, coherent and convincing language is a vital competence that can be acquired. This course provides a structured collaborative process that supports participants in developing this competence. At the same time, it guides them to compose concrete output in the form of a manuscript such as a proposal or research article that is ready for submission. Participants should ideally join this hands-on course when they are already working on a proposal or publication. If they start with a first draft, the course helps them turn it into a submittable text for a funder or publisher; if they start only with data and/or a concept, it helps them create a draft. |
