| Content | Aims, contents and method of the course The aim of the course is to introduce the students to modern Faroese. This will be done by lectures given by the teacher and with practical excercises in class. The grammar will be introduced by the teacher and pronunciation and vocabulary will be practised by reading (aloud) and translating texts. In addition there will be excercises in filling in right grammatical forms of words, listening to spoken Faroese etc. The course book is Faroese: A Language Course for Beginners by Jonathan Adams and Hjalmar Petersen. Other materials made by the teacher will also be used at the course. |
