| Inhalt | The seminar will address the conceptual design and implementation of multi-modal user interaction in multimedia retrieval settings. It will feature seminar presentations on current topics on multi-modal information access and a project part in which these concepts are implemented in vitrivr, an open source multimedia search engine and distributed database (https://www.vitrivr.org/) |
| Lernziele | The goals of this seminar are twofold: - become familiar with novel concepts for multi-modal information interaction, especially in the context of (multimedia) information retrieval - become familiar with existing software packets and tools for analyzing and processing information in different modalities and for interacting with this information |
