| Inhalt | In this introduction to Systems Biology and related subjects, we will first discuss recent findings that show limitations of reductionism and highlight the need for a Systems perspective. We will then look into suitable experimental platforms as well as modeling approaches with a special emphasis on metabolism. Finally, the course will introduce recent concepts in gene expression noise, population heterogeneity, and robust network design. |
