| Inhalt | This course will deal with when, how, and why to mix qualitative and quantitative methods within one research design. The first part will cover research design issues, as well as theoretical assumptions and justifications for mixed methods research. We will also explore practical problems and solutions to mixed methods. The second and third part will deal with the qualitative and quantitative perspective in a mixed methods research design. |
| Lernziele | After the course students will - understand the principles of mixed methods research, - identify the possibilities and limitations of mixed methods research, - have a clear idea about which design - mono or mixed methods - is most appropriate for the participants' project. |
