| Inhalt | This seminar is conducted in close liaison with a high-profile academic conference from 9-11 November 2016. Contributors to the conference are multidisciplinary and international theorists on the connection between religion and development, and practioners of development policy agencies / faith-based organizations. The conference is organised by the current Centre of Religion, Ecomomy and Politics (ZRWP) research group on the theme. |
| Lernziele | - basic understanding of the connection between religion and development - knowledge of the recent discourse on the theme of religion and development - charting out definite themes and controversies over the religious factor in development agendas - theorizing the connection between religion and development - debating current practical policy strategies and avenues to development in selected case-studies |
| Literatur | - will be presented at first meeting, and in collaboration with lectureres depending on personal thematic interests (see below) |
| Bemerkungen | Participation of preparatory and evaluation meeting is compulsory in addition to attending the conference. Date of (depending on number of participants: half-day) evaluation meeting will be jointly selected at first meeting. |
