Accredibility and Requirements
The Biogeographical Literature Seminar II (3CPs) is a seminar for advanced students. It is pri-marily offered to MSc students in environmental geosciences and geography. The seminar is also suitable for students of other curricula, such as MSc in Biology, Master in Sustainable Development or MA African Studies (please inquire with peter.nagel@unibas.ch, jan.beck@unibas.ch, or stefanie.vonfumetti@unibas.ch).
Participants give a 45 minute talk, using suitable media support (e.g. PowerPoint slides), and provide a handout (incl. summary) of their talk to the audience. Extent and content of the talk and its written version (see below) is discussed prior to the talk during an appointment with the lecturer leading the seminar.
