| Inhalt | Regulation of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices - fields of rapid technological growth and innovation - are topics of legal, economic, and policy significance. We will study how technological advances, including artificial intelligence, in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry challenge and demand redefinition of the institutional relationships between the FDA and courts, and of the mechanisms of supervision and control provided by the market, governmental regulation, and products liability litigation. |

| Literatur | The reading materials will consist of excerpts from law review articles/ book chapters and also case studies (from court cases engaging the topics). |

| Anmeldung zur Lehrveranstaltung | There will be an orientation for all Summer School courses an 22 February 2023, 18:15 - 18:45 (Zoom-Livestream). All applications have to be processed through the Summer School office. The enrollment for the course is at the same time the final registration for the exam! The online application is open from 22 February until 20 March 2023. Applications that are submitted by March 5 (23:55) will be handled on a priority basis.
