| Inhalt | With external lecturers: Prof. Antoine Guisan UniL, Dr. Niklaus Zimmermann WSL. Content: In several fields of biological research, niche modeling has become an important tool to answer questions. Those fields include ecology (understanding the niche), conservation biology, climate change research and micro- and macroevolutionary biology. The toolkit is diverse and the work flow requires many decisions, from selecting environmental variables, dealing with data sets with various types of shortcomings, different analytical approaches.
