| Inhalt | The practical course “writing workshop” introduces students to the craft of academic writing and aims at improving your professional writing skills. This goal will be achieved by practicing through five consecutive exercises and six assignments. The practise from writing may be used for an essay, presentation, seminar-paper or master-thesis and with the success of the course depending on your commitment to practice. Further on, students will be introduced to the main libraries and archives relevant for African Studies in Basel. The guided tours by experts offer a unique opportunity for getting to know famous institutions for research on Africa and complement the practical exercises of this introductory course in African Studies. |
