| Inhalt | The aim of this course is to introduce students to the craft of academic writing, to improve your writing skills and to get you ready to write your academic papers and Master-thesis. Therefore, you will work on texts you choose (a seminar paper you have to write, your BA-thesis or your MA-thesis, an essay or other). We will work on writing-strategies, text structuring as well as on language and style. Furthermore, you will be introduced to libraries and archives relevant for African Studies here in Basel which gives you an interesting insight into important Institutions for research on Africa. Finally, we will work on revising and commenting your chosen texts. |
