Inhalt | The course consists of following main topics: Topic 1: General characteristics and formulations of pedagogical communication. Topic 2: Communicational problems in general pedagogy: theories and concepts. Topic 3: Communication models in modern education systems: characteristics and interpretation in the education system. The methodological basis for pedagogical communication study. Topic 4: Communicational system of education: types, directions and functions. Topic 5: Communication activities in the educational process: Communication competences in pedagogical processes. Topic 6: The structure and component elements of educational communication. Topic 7: The verbal means and methods of communication and analyzes the culture of communication in processes. Topic 8: Non-verbal means and methods of communication and regulation possibilities of these in pedagogical processes. Topic 9: Ethics of the application of verbal and non-verbal communication means in professional action. Topic 10: Communicative influances and their accordant techniques and methods. Topic 11: Effective feedback methods application and adequate effects in pedagogical processes. Topic 12: Internal and external, objective and subjective factors determining the effectiveness of educational communications. Topic 13: Regulation of non-constructive or conflict communications and their particular techniques and methods in pedagogical processes. Topic 14: The culture of communication management in education. Topic 15: Pedagogical communication researches and assessment: how to assess effectiveness of communications in pedagogical processes. |
Lernziele | The course aims to enable students to: a. professional knowledge and skills 1. Define the formulations of "communication" and the concepts that are part of it; 2. Underline the structure of communication, constituent elements and key functions; b. professional practical skills 3. Evaluate internal and external, subjective and objective factors that may have an impact particularly on the effectiveness of communications in pedagogical processes; 4. Differentiate, compare and contrast the advantages and disadvantages of the current models of the education system, understand their causes; 5. Apply into practice the verbal and non-verbal means and particular techniques of communication and analyze the culture of communication in pedagogical action fields, 6. Argue education communicative influances and their accordant techniques, as well as appropriate feedback effects – ability apply them. 7. Judge non-constructive or conflict communications in constructive way. c. generic / transferable skills 8. Systemize the communication management skills that are needed in different fields, for assessment and analysis of the effectiveness of communications for schools and other institutions, 9. Evaluate the abilities and skills that are necessary to prepare a final report within this course. |
