| Inhalt | The seminar gives an introduction into the methods for creating, processing and analyzing corpora of spoken language. We will familiarize ourselves with methods of field research, tools and conventions for transcribing and annotating spoken language, and platforms for query and analysis of oral corpora. We will work with German, English and French data on questions of variational and interactional linguistics. |
| Lernziele | Seminar participants will acquire the methodological knowledge necessary to understand and work with spoken language data in linguistic studies. They will also gain practical skills in field work, recording techniques, transcription and annotation tools and corpus analysis systems. |
