Inhalt | This course addresses the genesis and applications of 3D models in the cultural heritage sector. Cultural heritage is not static, but is subject to constant change, which can be observed in particular in the digital space, which offers new opportunities to present and convey cultural objects. Because of their inherent interactivity, 3D models are a particularly engaging and interesting medium. Central topics for this course include knowledge management, visualization and reconstruction, digital mediation as well as application in the entertainment sector, such as video games. The digital tools and methods are analyzed and theoretically reflected. The course is accompanied by guest lecturers who share their specialist knowledge from practice and theory. |
