| Inhalt | This course focuses on new developments in artificial intelligence, in particular deep neural networks, for drug design applications. It consists of - Lectures (pre-recorded) - Practical computer labs The course is provided in a flipped-classroom style. Lectures are pre-recorded. Students are requested to understand lectures before entering the classroom. Short quizzes will be taken at the beginning of the “Computer lab” sessions. In those sessions practcal in silico problems will be solved with the aim to intensify the understanding of the course material. Topics covered by the lectures: - De novo design and generative models - Molecular docking - Virtual screening - Free energy calculations |
| Lernziele | In-depth understanding of the state-of-the-art AI techniques employed in the modern rational drug design, including their strenghts and weaknesses. Solving practical programming problems in AI related to computational drug design. |
