Its integration into various facets of operations will not only optimize processes but also foster innovation, fundamentally reshaping the way organizations operate and compete in the global marketplace." This ChatGPT-generated prediction might be biased, although current developments support this direction. In this lecture series, various lecturers and field experts will delve into the current applications of AI in business and economics, illuminating its transformative impact across various sectors and its implications for research in our discipline. They will discuss ongoing scientific projects and case studies, scrutinizing critical aspects and forecasting future developments. This lecture series encompasses a wide range of topics, spanning from labor and job markets to mobility, public and health economics, finance and accounting, and extends to legal considerations and digital responsibility. |
| Lernziele | Participants will see a diverse range of AI applications in the context of business, economics, and related areas. They will have a better understand of the potential, but also of the limits and risks inherent in these new technologies. |
