| Inhalt | The course can be best described as an extended hackathon where you get the opportunity to learn about blockchain and apply your theoretical knowledge to an actual project. Ever wanted to create a subscription service (e.g., movie streaming) based on blockchain payments, design a stablecoin for a local economy, or manage hotel keys via NFTs and cryptographic keys? What about privacy in payments or crypto assets succession planning solutions? These are just a few of many exciting opportunities as part of the Blockchain challenge. There will be numerous case proposals, but you are also welcome to propose your own project. Over the course of 10 days you will be taught everything you need to know to succeed with your projects. You get a chance to a head-start to your semester with 6 ECTS, where most of the work is done, before the official start of the other lectures. This is a unique opportunity to work on a very relevant topic, enhance your skills and gain practical experience. Please note, that the lecture starts already on August, 31st. We are looking forward to receiving your application. |

| Teilnahmevoraussetzungen | The lecture 46932-01 "Bitcoin, Blockchain and Cryptoassets" or 52354-01 "Smart Contracts and Decentralized Finance" are recommended but not a strict requirement. Applications from other faculties and/or universities are welcome. |
