| Lernziele | An understanding of the trends in chemical reactivity of the main group elements; use of thermodynamics in inorganic chemistry; a knowledge of the descriptive chemistry of the main group elements; trends in oxidation states across the periodic table and down groups; application of spectroscopic methods (IR, NMR); an appreciation of moleculr symmetry and an ability to work out the point group of simple molecules. |
