| Inhalt | Investigating a complex process such as memory requires a multi-modal approach. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive method that allows to explore not only brain activity (through functional MRI), but also brain structure (through anatomical MRI and diffusion weighted MRI). We are looking for highly motivated and trustful master students eager to learn novel and cutting-edge methods of analyses in the fields of MRI, fMRI or diffusion MRI, and apply them to find out more about the involvement of specific brain regions -and eventually genes- in emotional memory. |
| Lernziele | Getting familiar with MRI-fMRI-DTI acquisition methods. Understanding the basic principles of data analysis. Learning and applying relevant methods to investigate the neuronal underpinnings of emotional memory. |
| Teilnahmevoraussetzungen | Abgeschlossenes Bachelorstudium. |
