| Inhalt | This class offers an introduction to the language and palaeography of Greek documentary papyrology as part of the broader history of Greco-Roman Egypt. Each week students will both read texts in transcription and practice transcribing themselves and as a final project, each student will produce their own edition of an unedited text. Elementary Greek is required for this course. |
| Lernziele | The purpose of this course is to give students a grounding in the language and palaeography of Greek documentary papyri so that they may edit texts themselves. |
