Teilnahmevoraussetzungen To get admitted to 31953-01 you must have passed the following lectures:
12036 Econometrics
62650 Behavioral Science or 31960 Microeconomics and Psychology of Decision Making
10639 Consumer Behavior: Theoretical Foundations
If you have so far not passed course 43498 Psychological Theory of Consumer Behavior, you would need to register for it and attend it during the same term when taking 31953-01.

In the past we could admit all students who fulfilled these requirements. Should there be too much demand, we would admit students based on their performance in the above courses, and based on whether they have taken other relevant courses, undergraduate or graduate. This includes marketing, psychology, or econometrics/statistics. Hence, you should apply with a list of relevant courses and grades.

The master’s theses in this area are all empirical, and typically experimental. We presuppose that by the time you take this course (31953-01) you have learned to subject your raw data to basic statistical analyses, such as, ANOVA or multiple regression. You are free to use any standard software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS).

All information needed about the courses and the master's thesis in "Behavioral Marketing" can be found here: https://wwz.unibas.ch/fileadmin/user_upload/wwz/00_Professuren/Brendl_Marketing/2021_07_19_MBrendl_Requirements_Master_s_Thesis_in_Behavioral_Marketing.pdf
