| Inhalt | This advanced health economics course details the key theoretical models and empirical methods used in health economics. The course covers, among others, the demand for healthcare, health insurance design, vaccination behavior, behavioral health economics, and causal inference in health economics. It examines both positive and normative questions using microeconomic theory and econometric methods. The course places a strong emphasis on hands-on learning through the replication of existing research studies and doing cost-benefit analyses, providing students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge and analytical skills. The goal is that the students have the tools necessary to critically analyze and contribute to the ongoing discourse in health economics research and practice |

| Teilnahmevoraussetzungen | Completed Bachelor in Business and Economics or equivalent. Strongly recommended, but not required: 12036 Econometrics and 41957 Advanced Econometrics. |
