Inhalt Mini project human movement invluding study design, data collection with different lab equipment, data processing, data analysis, final report
Focus on synchronized real-time data analysis methods from the gait rehabilitation robot
the FLOAT, IMUs, motion tracking, etc. applied to different small research questions.
EMG-based control of an arm exoskeleton (Eduexo) using Arduino
Lernziele The Hands-on Laboratory Workshop on Clinical Biomechanics and Ergonomics Engineering
provides students with a basic understanding of the technologies used for motion analysis and
robotic assistance, as well as programming experience to calculate the outcomes of interest
and/or control a robotic device. By participating in hands-on workshop sessions and completing
a mini-project, students will develop the following competencies:
- Knowledge on technologies and tools used in motion analysis and ergonomics: Students
will gain hands-on experience with the different motion analysis systems,
electromyography and the robotic assistive tool. Students will be able to collect data for
selected tools, understand the data processing and be able to compute outcome
parameters of interest.
- Knowledge of sources of errors and error propagation: Student will gain a comprehensive
understanding of possible sources of errors and how such errors may affect the motion
data. Students will perform sensitivity analyses on possible errors.
