| Inhalt | Aims of the seminar This research seminar for advanced MA students and PhD candidates in Conversation Analysis aims at discussing the principles of Multimodal Conversation Analysis, as they are incarnated in fundamental notions and in a distinct methodology for producing transcribing and analysing video data. The seminar will be articulated in V parts: I. Principles, II. Video methodology, III. Multimodal transcription, IV. Single Case Analysis, V: Analysis of Collections. These 5 parts will be further developed in the presentation of diverse collections, with a focus on how they were made and which choices and options affected them. While previous knowledge of Conversation Analysis is expected, the aim is to provide for an in-depth understanding of the fundaments of multimodal CA. |
