| Inhalt | Description: This course provides students with an overview of, and guidance on, what constitutes Good Scientific Practice in Health Sciences. The course is very interactive. Content: 1. Introduction to ethics in science and scientific integrity. 2. Guidelines on good scientific conduct at the university of Basel 3. Authorship rules and problematic issues in scientific publications. 4. Conflicts of interest in the academic environment. 5. Plagiarism and the use of AI. 6. Data fabrication and falsification; bad data practices. 7. The role of health scientists in society; working in the Global South. |
