Content | This class is designed as a follow-up to introductory qualitative methods or other methods courses that PhD students would have taken to prepare for their thesis research work. During this course, students will learn how to best design their research project, what is necessary to implement a research design as planned, understand the shortcomings of their research designs, and how to overcome them. As many research projects include reviews of literature and qualitative methodology, specifically during this course, you will gain hands-on experience with implementation of systematic review of literature, acquire in-depth knowledge about interview data collection, and appreciate the tasks involved in doing qualitative data analysis. |
