| Content | This Kolloquium is required in the Master of Economics and Public Policy. It is only open to students in MEPP. Students have to take the Kolloquium three times over the course of the program, but each time in a different role. The different versions of the Kolloqium correspond to these roles. Discussion, Research Design and Presentation all take place at the same time. Students that sign up for the "Research Design" role present their research plan and provide feedback to others. Ideally, students take on only one role per semster. However, if it is required based on the individual schedule of designing and completing the thesis, students may take the role of "Research Design" in the same semester as the role of "Presentation". In this case, they need to sign up for both versions of the Kolloqium. Please consult with the MEPP office before signing up for such a double role. |
| Learning objectives | The purpose of this Kolloquium is to present your research design to faculty and other students The different Kolloqiua "Discussion", "Design" and "Presentation" take place at the same time. The type of Kolloqium a student signs up for determines his or her role during the event (discussing, presenting a research design or a thesis). To graduate from the MEPP, all three Kolloquia/roles must have been taken. |
