Content | Within the study program of MSD 2017, students have to register 3 times in a 'master's thesis colloquium'. This colloquium on "ongoing master's thesis" is the first one to be attended (= colloquium A). The participants learn to understand the presented research designs, pose questions, and learn to give feedback. |
Learning objectives | Students - learn to perceive and understand other presentations; - get insights into other SD research topics; - learn to give constructive, specific feedback and to discuss the presented research topics; - learn to pose interesting questions on other student’s presentations. |
Comments | Schedule fall semester 2025 - all dates are mandatory and all participants must be available for these dates!!! The meetings will start at 14.15h, the duration depends on the number of presentations: Meeting 1: 26. September; meeting 2: 07. November.; meeting 3: 05. December (only presentations of results), meeting 4: 12. December (only presentations of concepts), meeting 5: 19. December (only if necessary). Room details see online course directory section "Dates & Rooms". Details regarding duration of each meeting are published with the program usually sent out around 10 days before the colloquia take place. The lecture is offered by the MSD. Prof. Dr. Alejandra Morán Ordóñez, Prof. Dr. Janina Grabs and Prof. Dr. Frank Krysiak (lead of this course) are heading the MSD teaching committee. |
Admission requirements | Approval of thesis application is given before the presentation of the pitch takes place. Exclusively for MSD-students. No other students admitted. |
Course application | Course enrollment on online services should be completed by the beginning of the teaching period (withdrawal possible until Monday of week five). Exclusively for MSD-students. No other students admitted. |
