Content The project gives every student the opportunity to realize a larger programming project
related to the Master's course. Both the theory and the numerical
experiments are summarized in a short (max. 5 pages) report in LaTeX.
Learning objectives Improve programming skills for the simulation of wave phenomena
together with scientific writing skills in LaTeX.

 

Admission requirements The project can only be attended in parallel to the Master's course in Numerical Methods for Wave Propagation.

Assessment details The project gives every student the opportunity to realize a larger programming project
related to the Master's course. Both the theory and the numerical
experiments are summarized in a short (max. 5 pages) report in LaTeX.

The project's description is given typically in the 5-6th week of the semester and the
report is expected about 4 weeks after the end of classes. The findings are briefly
presented and discussed at the end.
