| Course frequency | Every fall sem. |
| Lecturers | C. Miguel Brendl (miguel.brendl@unibas.ch, Assessor) |
| Content | During a kick-off session we will assign topics in the area of behavioral marketing. You can view previously assigned topics by following this link: https://adam.unibas.ch/goto_adam_crs_480685.html The thesis consists of a literature review of the research that has been done on the topic that you have been assigned. To get an impression of the nature of the literature, you can take a look a the Journal of Consumer Research. You will thus have to read and understand academic journal articles that report experimental investigations. If you prefer to conduct an empirical investigation and write a research report about your results, we are open to this, too. However, you need to be able to independently conduct statistical analyses of the data you collect. |
| Learning objectives | -To understand academic journal articles. -To conceptually integrate empirical findings and draw conclusions about a theoretical question. |
