Content | In countries like Sweden, Germany, or Switzerland, the majority of children born after 2001 will live to be 100 years old. But how cognitively fit will they be? What cognitive changes are to be expected with increased age? The seminar will provide an overview of changes in attention, memory, and reasoning abilities across adulthood and address how genetic and environmental factors contribute to successful cognitive aging. The goal of the seminar is to provide an overview of the limits as well as potential of aging minds and discuss the resulting policy and societal implications. |
