Content - Theory and technology of lasers
- Molecular structure and dynamics: advanced concepts
- Modern molecular spectroscopy: laser methods
- Chemical reaction dynamics: theoretical concepts, laser chemistry, ultrafast processes and real-time studies of chemical reactions, coherent control, femto- and attoscience
- Ultracold molecules: laser cooling and trapping of atoms, generation of ultracold molecules, properties of ultracold matter, cold chemistry, quantum-information processing
- Modern mass spectrometry: concepts, ion sources and detection systems, RF devices, ion guiding and trapping, time-of-flight MS, future trends
Learning objectives Introduction to modern experimental methods and current research topics in physical chemistry: theory and applications of lasers, laser spectroscopy and chemistry, chemical reaction dynamics, real-time studies and control of chemical processes at the molecular level, generation and applications of ultracold atoms and molecules. Modern mass spectrometry: concepts and applications
