| Content | This course will review English grammar from three perspectives: that of the linguist, that of the language learner, and that of the language teacher. |
| Learning objectives | To provide a thorough review of English grammar from the perspectives necessary for future teachers. |
| Bibliography | Students should purchase "A Student's Introduction to English Grammar", by Rodney Huddleston and Geoffrey K. Pullum (Cambridge University Press, 2005), and "How to Teach Grammar", by Scott Thornbury (Longman, 1999), if possible before the semester begins. |
