Content | In this course we define what is good academic writing and practice and hone our writing skills. The course develops writing skills for the academic context and beyond. We will get to know the local ressources as well as the academic practices in the various disciplines contributing to the MA African Studies. The main focus of the course will be on the actual writing process and the improvement of style. The course also provides a forum for the discussion and refinement of your seminar papers, essays and presentations. |

Admission requirements | This course is geared primarily to MA students and advanced BA students (3rd year) from those disciplines contributing to the MA African Studies. Proficiency in oral and written English. Willingness to regularly produce written texts. |
