10616-01 - Lecture: Applied Data Analysis (3 CP)

Content This course deals with practical aspects of applied quantitative research in business and economics in general and marketing in particular. Three main areas will be covered:
1. data collection (including questionnaires)
2. data analysis (including data cleaning; multivariate analysis; analysis of categorical and interval data)
3. special topics (based on students' needs and interests, this could include, but is not limited to, computationally intensive methods and data mining; graphical representation; etc.)
The course combines theoretical presentations with practical applications and "hands-on" examples.
