Content | In order to work on English-language composition and style and improve essay writing skills in an intensive setting, the students will each write and discuss four short essays. All essays will be discussed by all participants. |
Learning objectives | Further development of academic-writing skills in English. |
Bibliography | The instructor will provide a booklet of texts for the course. |
Comments | The workshopping of writing requires all participants to make a commitment that they will attend the course regularly. |
Admission requirements | For English majors who have passed the first-semester courses in English Language Practice and Literature and Culture Studies (or who have received special permission from the instructor). |
