| Content | The theme of this course is Clinical Ethics Consultation in Switzerland: Trends and Issues. The aim is to highlight key features in clinical ethics support in Switzerland and neighboring countries, and different centers' approaches. The issues confronted by clinicians, nurses and hospital staff, and the tricky decisions they can be faced with, will be explored and analysed. This is particularly relevant in light of the new recommendations (2012) of the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences concerning clinical ethics. The course features guest lecturers who are experts in various areas in this field, and every lecture is followed by an interative discussion session. |
