| Content | Analysis of natural variations in the genome structure (polymorphisms) is gaining importance in the identification of human disorders, diagnosis and development individual therapies. In the context of this practical course we introduce the methods used for detection and evaluation of genetic polymorphisms in a population. These includes sample collection, DNA isolation, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and gel electrophoresis. |

| Course application | Ab 1. August bis 1. September 2013 können über MOnA die Seminare belegt werden. Ab Montag, 2. bis 7. September 2013 wird die Zuteilung zu den Seminaren durch die Dozenten vorgenommen. Im Anschluss besteht die Möglichkeit, nach Absprache mit den Dozenten, weitere Seminare zu belegen. |
