Content | The PhD Summer School Sustainability is an international course to foster interdisciplinary discourse on sustainability science among PhD-students. This first Summer School focuses on sustainability conceptions and their impacts on the students' empirical research. It provides a heterogeneous platform to intensively discuss the diversity of understandings of sustainability in different disciplines and their impacts on disciplinary research. Leading researchers in the field of sustainability will give inputs and the participants will have the opportunity to get comments on their research projects from them. |
Learning objectives | The main aims of this course are - to enhance the participants’ knowledge of different theoretical options on the sustainability science market; - to critically reflect the invested understandings of sustainability in the participants’ research projects and - to foster interdisciplinary discourse on sustainability science among PhD-students. |

Admission requirements | The course is open to PhD-students from all national and international universities writing their PhD in different sustainability related disciplines. Preliminary registration is required. For details see "Anmeldung", the information will follow. |
